Busbar Protection Panel is specialised designed to protect the Busbar in the system. It detects electrical fault or transient within the busbar zone to immediately isolating the affected busbar from damages which would reduce the service life of the busbar, or in worst case, causing permanent irreparable damage. Usually, the Busbar Protection is also integrated with Circuit Breaker Failure Protection scheme to provide protection in case of faulty circuit breaker in the system, and End Fault Protection for the electrical fault in between current transformer and circuit breaker. We design both High Impedance Busbar Protection and Centralised/Decentralised Low Impedance Busbar Protection based on customer’s requirement, application, and budget.
